About Our Community Offerings

A Blend of Science and Spirit

Kahu ʻAina: Earth Guardian Network was founded to foster the goals of stewardship - by supporting people to co-create the conditions for a more harmonious future.

We believe sustainability is about more than simply “living green.” It is rooted in our relationships—with the 'aina, with one another, and with ourselves. It grows through peace, authentic expression, meaningful connection, and the nourishment of connections built on communication, shared skills, and resources.

Grounded in sovereignty, equality and collaboration we offer immersive outdoor experiences for both keiki and adults, weaving together science and spirit through education, exploration, ceremony, and rites of passage. Our offerings invite us to deepen our relationship with the natural world, reconnect with our innate wisdom, and uplift and empower one another as we co-create a thriving future.

In the Body, On the Earth

My name is Liana, I am a cultural practitioner, nature guide, mentor, ceremonialist, mystic, intuitive, ecologist, nature nerd, and a warm, easygoing human. My path weaves together science, culture, spirit, and a deep connection to the natural world.

Born in Hawaiʻi, I hold a Master's degree in Oceanography, am a graduate (Anuʻu) of Halau ʻOhiʻa,, and bring 22 years of teaching experience and six years of facilitating personal ceremonies.

I have a knack for creating connections that are both deep and grounding, meeting a diversity of human hearts with warmth, curiosity, and a nonjudgmental presence. People often find it easy to open up around me. I love creating space for acceptance while gently challenging people beyond their familiar edges and into new possibilities. I'm also passionate about connecting dots, matching needs with resources, and bringing people and opportunities together.

Clients have described my ceremonial work as powerful, life-path supporting, illusion-dissolving, and energetically uplifting. And children love our outdoor adventure camps, with many families returning year after year for more than six years running.

Rites of Passage and Ritual Work

Nourish your soul with an individualized nature immersion session. A ceremony adventure, woven with your intentions and held within a safe space of connection to yourself, others and the environment around you.Experience the beauty and mana (energetic power) of secret local spots on the island while marking or celebrating a personal evolution in yourself - spiritually, emotionally or physically.

Meaningful Outdoor Education

Our field program is an enrichment for homeschool and public school children alike. Inviting curiosity, the scientific process, watershed studies, personal entrepreneurial projects, community service opportunities, nature exploration, play, games, social connection and freedom of expression. Our children shape our program. Our mentors are all local parents who co-support our cohort of young souls together for their growth.

Grant Writing and Resource Sharing

Sustainability and networking on an isolated island is incredibly important - and - fulfilling. My hands in the soil of my own yard brings me so much grounded appreciation. Efficiency is a love language of mine, and I am proficient in grant writing, reports and community coordination. I am open to support you in your project or agricultural persuits or networking to trade food items

Shakti Flow Dance and Mediations
