How do you stay current with trends and inspire yourself to keep your youthfulness? As a game that is dominated by young people living in the modern age and how can you be sure you portray your characters accurately or creating something that people can connect with?
I actually live in close proximity to Shibuya and it's close to the place I'd be most of WOW WoTLK Classic Gold the time. It was not necessary to go out to Shibuya for a lot of research. It was an aspect of my everyday life. In addition, when taking a look at newer trends I did check social platforms and fashion model accounts of people in their teens, to gain an understanding of what trends were in fashion since they are the experts. I came up with ideas on what was the most popular in present fashion. Therefore, I used social media quite a bit.
I'm not exactly the kind of person who follows the latest trends in fashion. When this project was first launched I kind of stumbled around to Shibuya to browse through their numerous stores and look at the latest trends. Additionally I did a lot of research on the internet to soak into as much information as I could. However, when I got into designing my designs, it did not go as planned at first. There was plenty of help I received from Nomura-san. He did give me plenty of tips, so check this out. Thanks to his advice I was able to get to the end of the line and complete the designs.
I usually do most of my research on the internet and I'd research what trends are prevalent in the current era and for younger Japanese people. What kinds of trends do brands or Japanese brands are setting as well. These are a few of the points I have looked at. I also consulted with overseas fashion houses to ensure that we didn't go buy WoTLK Classic Gold too far away from world trends. This is something I attempt to incorporate into my design.
